The other 6 spots have not changed but the Doctor had hoped they would have shrunk. The Doctor changed the type of chemo beginning yesterday and Pete will have at least 1 for the next 3 Mondays. He will order radiation, 15 treatments, and we should be hearing from UT to schedule these. The Doctor has given Pete an additional pain medication to help with the hip pain and the meds are working, helping Pete to sleep thru the night which makes him awake feeling some better. He had a chemo treatment yesterday and I think he is beginning to feel the effect this afternoon as it does zap his stamina. Thanks for your continued loving thoughts and prayers for the two of us. We think this news as not all bad especially compared to the news we got last April so we can come home feeling some encouraged. We love you. Hugs, Bootsie.---A special message from Jan Holley Long, class of 57-- I want to thank all of you that prayed for my son, Tim. He is out of the hospital and beginning to show some improvement. She has been on it for about 6 months now. She is doing well, praise Him and we are looking forward to the future in serving the Lord. Her cancer is incurable, but treatable.
