From Lewis:
To update what Terry sent to you, Dot was released from the hospital on Friday evening March 23rd. She went to Methodist Health South for rehab in Bartlett, TN. Saturday afternoon, she was sent back to the emergency room.......re-admitted to the hospital with a blood infection. She's now trying to get well so she can go back to Health South to begin her rehab. At present she is disabled on her left side but still has her sharp tongue. She loves to pick on me.....if she didn't, I would know she was really down. We never know from one day to the next where she will be, so if you would like to send a card, send it here to our home and I'll take it to her. Dot Dalton 6256 Skylight Dr. Bartlett, TN 38135 Sincerely, Lewis Dalton
Class_of_1959Your classmate, Dot Monger Dalton, class of 59, is in the hospital.Posted by TerryWilliamson51 at 11:00, on Monday, March 26, 2007
A message from Lewis Dalton, class of 59 about his wife Dot. Lewis sent this message on March 20th, so there may be changes now.
Dot is in Germantown Methodist Hospital, cardiovascular ICU.
After her surgery last Friday morning, she suffered a major stroke Saturday, in the right side of her brain and this has disabled her left side. She is still able to speak and recognize everyone.
The doctors tell me she will improve.....just how much depends on how hard she tries.
I'm checking my mail in the evenings but would prefer not to sort through jokes at this time, so please don't send anymore joke e-emails to my address until further notice.
Keep Dot in your prayers.
