Just talked with Doug Wilson, Class of '53, and he has requested Scrapper prayers for his wife, Irene ('54) who has been diagnosed with a lump in her lung. She also has pneumonia and currently is on a ventilator in Methodist North Hospital. They are both strong believers in prayer and know God is able. Please remember these two Scrappers in prayer.

I received this request from Claudine Stansbury asking for help gathering memorabilia about the old South Side School. Can you help her? Her email is mscberry@aol.com and her phone number is (901) 754-2380.

Mr Williamson,
I met you at the Piccadilly's on Mt Moriah about two years ago. You were with your classmates for a monthly meeting. I am interested in securing photos/pictures of the old Southside School which became Lincoln Junior High. My first teaching assignment was at Lincoln Junior High. I would like to compile memorabilia of that time period. Please reply if you can help me with this project.

I am Claudine Stansbury 901 754 2380

I hope you and classmates are still meeting.

Thank you,
Claudine Stansbury

John Rider is going in the hospital for surgery.

Posted by TerryWilliamson51 at 19:11, on Friday, May 9, 2008

I received an email from Sandy (Rider) Walker, class of 63, of Olive Branch Mississippi saying that her brother John Rider, class of 51, of Mobile Alabama will have surgery on Monday, May 12th. John has an aneurysm and they have determined that they can go in thru his groin in his leg to repair it. Please put John on your prayer list and Sandy says she will let us know how everything comes out.
