An email from Mary Glover Bartee, class of 1957 says that Rebecca Ray Daniels class of 1957 died September 30, 2012 when her house accidently caught on fire by a faulty wire going into a multi plug (yes, it had a surge protector) that was underneath her bed. The fire started under her bed and went up through the mattress. Mrs. Daniels was lying down at the time and I know that she did escape from the bed. By the time she got to the front of the room, it had filled up with smoke and that is when she passed away from smoke inhalation.
