General_NewsWho is it that does this South Side Scrapper Website?Posted by TerryWilliamson51 at 18:43, on Tuesday, July 29, 2008
Most of us know that Joe Tully, class of 53 is THE MAN WHO DOES THIS WEBSITE, BUT do we know how much time he puts into this project? I doubt that anyone but his wife Mary knows just how much time Joe puts into the upkeep of this job. Joe told me once that he ALWAYS had over 100 emails on his computer to read and handle. I would hate to think I had to read that many emails. I have gotten on Joe many times for spending his own money to keep this website going and I wonder if he is still doing it. Sometime when you have a few minutes, how about dropping Joe a note or giving him a call to say "THANK YOU JOE FOR GIVING US THIS OUTSTANDING WEB SITE", AND, WHILE YOU ARE AT IT SEND HIM A LITTLE CASH TO HELP HIM KEEP IT GOING. Don't send big money--a little from a lot will get it done. His address is 4904 West County Road 796, Lepanto Arkansas 72354. His phone is (870) 475-3196 and I believe his email is Josephus@ritter.com.Piccadilly_DinnerReport on our last Scrapper Dinner, 7/22/2008.Posted by TerryWilliamson51 at 18:12, on Monday, July 28, 2008

He left us today, John Rider was his name. It was our world’s loss, and Heaven’s gain. His pain is now gone, he suffers no more. Everything changed when he entered the Door. God met him there, he said, “Come with me.” “You’ll like it here, just you wait and see.” Then he heard a voice say, “John, it’s me”. He turned to look and who did he see? It was his Mother, on her face was a smile. “John, I’ve been waiting for a long, long while.” Then they joined hands and walked into the night. Everything was better, he was now all right. They’re together again, till the sun turns to dust, and they’ll be standing at the gate waiting for us. God bless you John, we love you!!! |
