Dorothy Bizzell: Honored guest

Posted by KathalineHarbison47 at 13:54, on Friday, August 24, 2007

This month's third Tuesday breakfast had a special theme: to honor Dottie Bizzell on her ninetieth birthday. As usual we met at the Perkins Restaurant near the corner of White Station and Park. There were thirty-three Scrappers attending. We honored Dottie with a "card shower". Dottie plans to attend the Olympic games next year. To say that we had a good time is the understatement of the year. We had a terrific time....a wonderful time....a memorable time. How blessed we are to have these long-time friends!
Please note: I didn't say "old" friends; we are still very young-at-heart!
